Novant Health Buddy Kemp Cancer Support Center was created to assist you and your family following a cancer diagnosis. Special programs and classes are available to offer support and education on current topics related to surviving cancer.

Duke Cancer Institute Support Services
Support during and after your treatment at Duke Cancer Institute is a critical part of your care.
The Lung Cancer support group is for lung cancer patients and their family members. Meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of every month. Parking vouchers will be available to group participants.
Levine Cancer Institute Survivorship Program
The Levine Cancer Institute Survivorship program provides evidenced-based clinical care, education, and support for patients beginning at their diagnosis of cancer. Our goal is to decrease the risk of recurrence, optimize health, facilitate recovery, and foster resiliency and well-being.
The Lung Cancer Initiative Access to Care Gas Card Program provides assistance to lung cancer patients while seeking treatment including clinical trials. The goal of the program is to lessen the financial burden for patients to receive appropriate lung cancer treatment by providing gas cards.
At Rex Cancer Center, we know battling cancer is a journey. That’s why we are here to help our patients every step of the way. We offer a variety of support programs and services to make sure our patients and their families have the emotional and physical support they need.
The Single Fathers Due to Cancer program is dedicated to helping the thousands of fathers who each year lose their spouses to cancer and must adjust to being sole parents. Remarkably, few resources are available for fathers and very little is known about the unique challenges they face and how to best help them through this enormously difficult time.
Community Bible Church, 4125 Johnson Street, High Point, NC 27265 (Modular Bldg. #2 behind the church), which meets at 7:00 pm the 1st Wednesday of every month. Meetings feature guest speakers (i.e. oncologists, nurse navigator, other cancer experts and survivor’s story).
Many cancer patients describe diagnosis, treatment and survivorship as a journey – sometimes one that comes with confusing maps and directions or without signposts and guidebooks. UNC Lineberger offers a variety of services and programs to meet patient’s needs.
The primary mission of Wind River Cancer Wellness Retreats & Programs is to teach survivors a variety of ways to deal with the emotional stress of cancer and improve their quality of life.
